I believe the methods teachers utilize have to evolve with the times, as the learning styles of students change. I am great at finding ways to mix technology-based resources with my lessons. Students respond well, and comprehend material better, when classes are taught in styles with which they can relate. My integrative teaching style helps students succeed in the classroom, and on standardized exams. With a new student, I like to first understand where they are struggling. From there, I can focus on helping them improve in the areas they need the most support. I help them move towards proficiency in the subject matter. We move on to higher levels if that is their goal. I have developed a wide array of helpful teaching tools.
